The Meredith Job Skills program is located in Meredith (40 minutes from Geelong, 35 minutes from Ballarat, 50 minutes from Wyndham, 50 minutes from Melton).
As part of the broader Steel Art Australia complex at 55 Wallace Street Meredith, the programs include the following options:

Little Bridge Salon
Located at 5 Little Bridge Street Ballarat, our training salon provides job skills for careers in the hair & beauty industries. One year in duration, the hair & beauty internship at Little Bridge Salon is designed for early school leavers with learning barriers. Year 10 or 11 school exit students are prioritised.
Where additional places are available, Year 12 graduates and young adults are also welcome to apply. Interns undertake structured training and practice their skills on real customers when they feel confident. Working in small groups, Little Bridge Salon interns receive support and instruction from qualified teachers and industry experts. Flexible, tailored learning and engagement approaches ensure interns who struggled at school have every opportunity to experience success. Hairdressers and Beauty Therapists are in high demand throughout Australia as indicated by Jobs & Skills Australia data.
Torquay Tech School
Located in Victoria’s Surf Coast (30 minutes from Geelong), Torquay Tech School offers job skills training in a range of industries to choose from:

The Certificate 2 in Work Skills (trades) is available as a VETDSS course or post-school tafe program.
